Routine background checks

These days if you applied for anything, be it a job, credit, even volunteer work, there’s an excellent chance you were the subject of some kind of background check or another. Not surprisingly, few people are aware of what kind of background information was revealed about them.

Unfortunately most people are unaware they were the victim of an identity theft until they are denied credit or rejected for a job.

Most people are under the impression that identity theft only concerns credit and financial matters, but can also sometimes include driving and criminal records.

Most people concerned about identity theft, check their credit reports, but some people run criminal background checks on themselves to check for any errors. While criminal identity theft is rare, errors have been known to occur. Mixups with similar names is a common culpret. Private investigators have the training to do thorough background checks.

Net Detective is a great low-cost place to start.
